We are currently meeting at Heron School (5151 Banfield Dr, Sacramento, CA 95835)
The recently established Natomas charter school, called, NP3, will be the new tenants of what is currently occupied by Natomas Middle School. NP3 has clarified to Natomas Unified School District and to Adventure that they need Adventure to vacate their new campus in July for move-in purposes. We will be moving to Heron School (K-8) in July. Natomas Unified School District has promised Adventure first choice should the new NP3 facility contract be available.
We will still have our 9am and 10:30am services, as well as all of our regular children’s programs.

Summer is here!!!!!!!! And, it has begun with some unforeseen weather?!?!?. It makes things interesting when we are surprised. Scott Mathews, here. I am very excited that our students are going to Hume Lake (best camp in California) and Mexico over the next few weeks. Both will be transformational. I am also relieved that many Adventure families will be enjoying summer vacations. It’s been a tough couple of quarters. We need to decompress more than we realize.
This Sunday, June 7th, marks the beginning of a four-week series on Artful Listening (from Steve Sample’s, The Contrarian’s Guide to Leadership). Our approach to listening will begin generally, but we will move towards the litmus tests of our post-Christian culture: ”How do Christ-followers feel about gays?” and “What do Christ-followers think of other religions?”
People do not care how much we know until they know how much we care. ~Anonymous
Yours for transformation,
Scott
