Compassion Ministries is committed to prayerfully and lovingly providing effective educational, health and/or physical aid for specific community needs, and planting Christian centers and churches where needed for community spiritual growth.
Outreach
“The Greenhouse” is an after school program located in the Northgate Gardenland area of South Natomas. It is a Christ centered ministry to at-risk kids in the community. Programs are offered to children in elementary through high school. After school programs include tutoring and enrichment classes like arts and crafts.
“OASIS” is a ministry targeting junior and high school students in a fun, safe and Christ centered environment that meet on Thursday nights.
How you can help:
- Elementary tutor/mentor (monday and wednesday 3-5 p.m.)
- Elementary enrichment team (friday 2-4 p.m.)
- “Oasis” youth group mentor team (wednesday 7:00 -8:30 p.m.)
- Junior & High School tutoring team (tuesday & thursday 4:00-6:00p.m.)
